Merry/"Married" Christmas Cards

I bet you know what this means...

It means our Christmas Cards are done and ready to be sent!

We didn't do Christmas Cards last year because we had just done Wedding Announcements and Photo Wedding Thank You Cards, so we figured that people had heard enough from us in 2008.

But this year, we reached yet another newlywed milestone ... the first "Married" Christmas Card!

Here's a better look at this year's card...

Although I did lust after the spectaculars cards on minted.com, we decided to go for much more budget friendly option on Shutterfly.com. And I'm really happy with how they turned out! This will definitely be annual tradition for us.

Our next project? Christmas decorations!

Are you doing Christmas Cards this year?

We did the married photo card last year since we were married in June and I wanted everyone to at least get a picture. This year I found a card without our picture to use. I just didn't have the time to try and get pictures of ourselves. Plus my husband's not big on the picture taking. Hopefully next year we'll get a picture and maybe there will be a child in it too!

These look great! I also really wanted to order from Minted, but like you, I couldn't justify the money for the cards this year so I opted for Shutterfly. Hope to get our cards in a few days!

I lusted after tinyprints and also decided on shutterfly.com. Got a great deal. This is our second year doing a Christmas card, as we were married in July 2008. I will post a preview of mine which will not arrive for a few days. I have the next 4 years of photos planned out...hahhaa...

We did snapfish this year! Yours look fantastic!

Your card came about VERY cute!! I just posted One version of our xmas cards. I usually use shutterfly and make a few different cards, but I went with another place this year because I wanted to include our new address since we bought a house this year. This is our 3rd year sending photo xmas cards. My mom and dad always did them (since I was a baby), so when I got married, I carried on their tradition. There are so many more options for cards on line these days!

LOVE your cards! we were planning to skip for the same reasons you did last year - but i got a coupon for 20% off at snapfish so i just might have to do it anyway. :)

Adorable a dozen times over. I have mixed feelings about photo cards that don’t feature kids or pets, but this Christmas messages… THIS… is how it’s done: add a recipe and do something different. So well done, and so you!
