All Good Things Must Come to an End

Four years ago I started this little blog to chronicle my little newlywed life.

I never imagined that I would eventually write hundreds of posts, have thousands of hits, and make several actual friends from blogging.

But there is a time and a season for everything, and my season of blogging is coming to an end.

There’s really not one reason for this departure; it’s a combination of several. But mainly, it’s because I feel like I’ve come to an “end” of what I want to blog about and I want to prioritize other things in my life.

Thank you all for the love, support, emails, comments, and friendship over the years. Blogging with you has been a truly incredible experience.

And finally, happy four year anniversary to my wonderful husband. This blog never would have been possible without you. We may not be “newlyweds” anymore, but I love you more than ever.

Ugh! I'm slightly upset that I'm just getting started with my newlywed blog as you're moving on from this blog. I've been searching for a NEW newlywed blog but can't seem to find any. I enjoy this blog and I hope you continue on in marital bliss.

God bless.

I'm so glad I was able to follow your journey and it was even more special that we were "newlyweds" at the same time. Getting ready to celebrate our four year anniversary next month, crazy how time flies!?! All the best to you and it was truly a privilege to read your blog! : )

I'm very, very sad to read this, but I obviously totally respect your decision.
Yours was the first blog I ever discovered. Before I even knew what a blog was!!
It was my first year at university, and I was procrastinating from exam study. I don't know how it happened, but I stumbled across your blog.
After a little while of reading, I clicked away from it but for months after, I would remember it. I could never seem to find it again.
The following year, I was sick in bed and remembering, I spent a morning hunting your blog down! I found it, read it start to finish, and decided to start my own...I guess, I almost wanted to be just like you? As lame as that sounds.

Silly story, but I just wanted you to know the influence you had.
All the best for you, the mister, & Judah's future xx

I'd still love to meet up sometime in San Diego, so don't be a stranger!
