We're getting our wedding album. Finally!

After one year and 5 months of marriage, we've finally ordered our wedding album!

At first I wasn't sure if I wanted to pay for an expensive, high-quality wedding album. I figured that I could make my own on blurb.com. But after doing some thinking and looking at professional wedding albums like the one that That Wife ordered, I knew that it would be something that I would treasure.

So I worked with my photographer and ordered a 40 page 12x12 album with approximately 130 images in in it. It covers getting ready for the wedding, the ceremony, the couple/family/friends pics, the reception, and our "Trash the Dress".

I just finalized the proofs and I am so excited! I love all of the layouts but I think my favorite are the panoramic two page spreads.

Here are a couple of previews....

Can't wait to show you more pictures of the album when I get it!

How about you other married gals out there? Did you do a professional wedding album? Make your own? Have not yet made or ordered one? If you posted about your wedding album on your blog, please link to that post in your comment. I'd love to see other people's wedding albums!

Love it. I so need to get on ordering mine. Why is it that you are so gung ho during the planning and then after the wedding you become super lazy about wedding stuff, well I did at least.

I absolutely love your dress. So beautiful. I definitely think you will want your album one day. I'm glad you ordered it, it will be worth it to you one day down the line.

Can't wait to see more.

I need to pick photos for mine and order it, but my mom just made us a great scrapbook that I love, so I don't really feel like its as urgent anymore. Goal is to do so before we hit our first anniversary... I have 6 more months.

My mom made me one for Christmas and I love it! Your pictures are so beautiful!

I'm scrapbooking mine, but I'm not even half way done and we've been married 1.5 years!

Those layouts look great! I love the beachy theme of your wedding! And the trash the dress pics are great ~ kinda wish we had done something like that!

I'm trying to make my own album... it's a lot of work though, so it's taking a long time. Been married over 2 years and it's still not done! It's on my list of goals for the year, so I need to start devoting more time to it. I'll definitely do some blog posts on the process!

How exciting!! Your pictures are beautiful.

We didn't get an album as part of our package with our photographer (to save money). I still want to order one, but obviously you can see it isn't always a priority. Luckily my sister is a professional photographer so once we are ready, she can order it for us.

Yay, for you!

Sadly, still have not done our album. I was going with blurb. I started but never completed it.

I had a professional one done in a similar style to yours. I knew that I wanted something special that would be treasured for years to come. The traditional albums were not what I wanted so I negotiated for this type of album from the beginning. Needless to say, my SIL who used the same photographer when she got married liked mine and went back and had one done for her.
You will love the album!

Love your blog! And congrats on ordering your album...my hubby and I ordered ours for our 1 year anniversary (basically because of the extra cost of these kinds of albums). Best decision ever!!! You won't regret it! XOXO

Love it, of course! I can't wait to see it in real life, because I love all your wedding pics that are in your house already. :)

I love it and you're going to be so glad you did it! My photographer did a wedding album but nothing like that. I didn't really worry about it though since I got all of the digital images of my pictures so I could do as I please with my pictures. Can't wait to see more!

You know, we haven't got one yet, but I would love to create my own on snapfish - my aunt did all of the photography so I have all of the original files. This might be fun to play around with!!

(It might take me awhile, but eventually I will link back)

I am thinking of doing something similar. I had good intentions of making my own but I am really not very creative enough to make it look nice.

Nice preview! I love your beachy colors and of course the beach pictures.

Hi!! I am a newbie follower of yours and I love your blogs!! Your pictures are absolutely beautiful!! My favorite is the first layout. Your dress is beautiful! I am creating a scrapbook album for our wedding and I have been posting pics of it on my blog. It's taking me a while though! In March will be our second anniversary! I am really enjoying your blogs!

We did get a professional album, I am so glad we did--her choices and layouts were so much better than what i could do on my own. I searched for the pictures of it--can find my proofs anywhere. But I did this post

on my scrapbook and some MyPublisher books I made for my bridesmaids.
Thanks for sharing yours!

I just finally picked up my wedding album two weeks ago. It was one year and 3 months for me. But I still have to go back and pick up our big portrait too! lol

Love the previews. I also have panoramic images going across two pages and LOVE that style.

Your pics are beautiful. I am not sure what we are going to do with our photographs, I guess it all depends on how well they turn out.

We got one from our photographer when we got married...but it is more like printed pictures just put in an album. I have been meaning to make one myself...but I haven't yet. Or printed any pictures. And it has been 2 years, 4 months. And counting :)

Hi there!
I would like to burn a theme at here. There is such a nicey, called HYIP, or High Yield Investment Program. It reminds of ponzy-like structure, but in rare cases one may happen to meet a company that really pays up to 2% daily not on invested money, but from real profits.

For several years , I earn money with the help of these programs.
I don't have problems with money now, but there are heights that must be conquered . I get now up to 2G a day , and my first investment was 500 dollars only.
Right now, I managed to catch a guaranteed variant to make a sharp rise . Turn to my web site to get additional info.

Too funny, because I’ve been married 1 year and 4 months and just ordered our album about a month ago. I can’t wait to see a preview of it from my photographer.

Your album looks like it is going to be wonderful. You were a gorgeous bride and your dress was beautiful! I especially love the after the ceremony pics and the detail shots.

That is such a good idea to get an album! I'm very happy we chose a package with our photographer that included one. I still look at it occasionally, three years on.

But don't feel bad about waiting so long - I still haven't started our personal scrapbook from the wedding. I'm only halfway done with the honeymoon one!
