Mid-Week Mishmash

Remember all those vinyl records that we inherited and wanted to sell? We took the boxes to a couple record stores and it turns out they were worthless. So off to Goodwill they went. At least we get a tax write-off. Good riddance!

(Note: not all of these boxes ended up with us, we only took a few boxes and the Mr.'s parents have the rest)

I'm continuing to work on my digital scrapbook and my final paper scrapbook. I'm trying to catch up on scrapbooking since I'm about 4 years behind. I was thinking that when I finish my final paper scrapbook I'm going either sell or do a giveaway for all my left over paper, stickers, embellishments, etc. What do you think: giveaway or sell?

Thursday is the Mr.'s Birthday. I'm getting him two presents and both of them are things I've gotten him before that he loved but wore out. I think that means we've been together for too long. I'm getting him a "magic wallet" and something else. More on that later.

I've started keeping my vitamins in the kitchen and that makes me SO much better at remembering to take them. I pretty much have to take vitamins with food since vitamins often upset my stomach. I am also thinking of getting one of those "days of the week" pill things that old people use to help me remember to take them, ha! I've been taking Trader Joe's Vitamins and I think they are pretty good. What vitamins do you like?

Here's a fun travel tip. If you know you travel a lot (or even shower at the gym a lot), purchase and keep a second set of cosmetics all packed in a cosmetic bag. The only cost is the initial purchase and you can always raid your travel bag if you run out of a product in your home supply. This saves SO much packing and unpacking time.

I have one of those days of the week pill cases. It makes it so much easier!

I love scrapbooking! One of my favorite things to do. Also, I have a day of the week thing and I've taken those same T. Joes vitamins.
Happy Tuesday!

All of my vitamins are really nasty. I probably should get a days of the week pill container to remember too! haha!

I'll have to try Trader Joe vitamins.. I've been searching for a vitamin but haven't found one that I liked. Good suggestion! I keep mine at work. Since I'm here 5 days a week, I remember a lot better to take them. I usually put a small supply in an extra bottle to keep at home for the weekend. and you aren't alone, I've definitely considered getting one of those "days of the week" pill holders too. :-)

DH has a one week pill case, but unfortunately, he uses it to separate all of his pills for one day!!!

Good call on the 2nd make up bag... Makes so much sense! I'd say sell the paper scrapbooking stuff... I want to start doing digital scrapbooking too!

I had a magic wallet from J. Crew a few years ago.

Do you have any good vitamin recommendations? I don't take a daily multivitamin and need to!

I love digi scrapping--I have a few examples in my blog of my baby's year one book and supplies I have used and classes.

I just did my first digital scrapbook last week using iphoto and it was SO fast and efficient! I love it!

About the vitamins. I've always kept them in the kitchen and I put them in the old people containers! They're about a buck at drug stores. We've been using these for a couple years now and they're super helpful and convenient... especially if you take multiple pills like I do.

Makeup tip = great idea.

I've been thinking about getting rid of some of my scrapbooking supplies. I've been checking with friends but a lot of them seem to moving to digital scrapbooking too. I'm probably going to take most of it to the Goodwill. I'm not really getting rid of high priced items. If I was I'd eBay it.

I would buy some of your scrapbooking stuff!

The make up bag idea is great... I actually left my entire make up bag at home this week :( I had to buy a lot of stuff last night, so I guess I do have a second set now.

I admire your scrapbooking... That's one of my major "to-dos" when my wedding is over next month.

As far as vitamins go, I've taken to taking prenatals for the awesome job they do on my skin, nails and hair. Plus, my OBGYN says they're great to start taking a year + before you start trying to make babes.

As silly as this sounds, I love the gummy vitamins. I am taking a prenatal gummy vitamin and not only am I getting all the necessary vitamins and minerals, but I actually look forward to taking them. There has been more than one occassion where I've wondered if it would be bad to get 500% of my daily values of Vitamin C because the gummies lure me!

I'm still scrapbooking the old fashioned way - so I vote for a giveaway of the supplies you won't use going forward! :)

I love the idea of a second set of cosmetics. Having a travel kit ready to go with everything you need has been so helpful, adding the makeup would make it even better. Thanks for the tip!

I would definitely be all about a scarpbooking giveaway. Then maybe I would be inspired to finally finish my France scrapbook.
