Well, in 2010 I officially retained my "road warrior" status.*
I maintained my Starwood Platinum status, my Avis 1st status, and my Southwest A-List Status.
I went on 25 business trips for total of 93 days!
And all these business trip enabled me to take 16 pleasure trips for a total of 73 days!
All those days on the road gave me a bunch of free flights and free hotel nights. Definitely a nice job perk!
So in 2010 I spent a total 166 days away from home. Remind me again why I even bother to have a home?
So where did we go in 2010? ...
Tahoe
Colorado
San Francisco
Santa Barbara
Seattle
Europe
Arizona
New York City
Oregon (three times over the year!)
San Diego (four times over the year!)
My favorite 2010 destination was obviously Europe, but I really had a blast everywhere. I feel so blessed to have experienced so many amazing places.
Where was your favorite place that you visited in 2010?
I'm not sure I can top the 2010 travels in 2011, but I'm gonna try! Stay tuned to see where I'm heading in 2011.
*Sorry for the late 2010 recap. I was on blogging hiatus at the end of 2010. You can forgive me right?

Wow lucky duck! Great pics! Glad to have you back!
Of Course we can forgive you. I still wonder what went on though. Well, started off last year in Atlanta Georgia for the Passion Conference for work. ( I worked for Voice of the Martyrs ) Then visited my brother in northern Missouri and took a look at a bible college up there. Then in October went on a business trip to a volunteer conference in Ohio. Woot woot. Europe just sounds beautiful !
Wow! Busy lady! That sounds amazing, and when you live somewhere like Cali, you can get around to those fun, cool places like San Diego and San Francisco "quickly!" :)
What a fun recap! It is so fun to look back and see! I'm going to have to do this for us too, great idea to count the trips and days traveled, so fun (you know I love a good spreadsheet ;-))! Can't wait to see where 2011 takes you! Hopefully out here to visit too!! :)
Oh I loooove this post. Makes me want to track my travels better in '11!
Europe was clearly our favorite trip in '10, but lots of mini trips were fun too! We're actually considering another overseas trip this summer. We have the funds, we have the vacation time, and we're thinking one more, fun, big trips before kids could be fun. We'll see what happens! Where are y'all planning to visit this year?
That is so great that you can earn all those free flights and hotels! You guys look like you had a lot of fun together! I can't wait to go to Europe this year- we're going to Italy!
That's so awesome, I wish I could travel that much. I love to travel and hope one day to be able to afford to!! You two make such a good looking couple. ;)
jealous! my fav was our honeymoon! Bay area!
Wow, your job really keeps you busy! My job doesn't allow me to travel and earn those points, which is a bummer. It looks like you had fun traveling this year!
nice - gotta love the travel points!! Big consulting company sent my husband to Paris and I got to go along (and he had enough hotel points to pay for our entire stay that extra week). We also had our share of mini trips last year. Who knows where we will go in 2011? :)
You definitely had a great year of travel!!! I'm trying to plan a trip for Italy in August so I may be filling your email with tons of questions!
Wow, why DO yall even have a house?? Haha!!
Just stumbled upon your blog, and even though I've never read it before, I'm glad you're back :-)
Looks like you are a very lucky lady with all the travels you've had over the last year. For me, the luxury or ability to travel is one of the best parts of life so you're doing well!
To respond to your question du jour, I think my favorite place I visited was South Africa for my honeymoon last year! I was lucky and had trips to Australia and Ireland as well this year, but South Africa was awesome.
looks like a great trip! glad you all are home safe and sound... and hope everything goes well for you and your family this year!
