I’m embarrassed to admit this, but I am a huge klutz. Mostly in the realm of spilling stuff on myself and others. It got so bad at one point that Mr. would make me stand/sit at least two feet away from him if I am drinking a colored liquid.
Exhibit A:
This morning, not even five minutes after I sat down at my desk, I managed to spill coffee all down the left side of my dress.
Which is why I always carry this:
Yes, my trusty tide pens! "Tide To Go" definitely takes stains out, but on some fabrics it leaves a water spot ring. Better than a stain, but still not optimal.
Are there any klutzes like me out there? Anyone have any good advice for how to get out stains on the go?
PS- I’ve been lazy, but I have great pics and stories from our Easter weekend in San Diego. Check back tomorrow for those!

I am a huge klutz! Like embarrassingly so. Which reminds me...I need to pick up a new Tide pen today! :)
Club soda...it works miracles! (especially when mixed with vodka and a lime wedge...oops! We're talking about stain-removers - I knew that :)
Oh, I am totally the worse. For instance, I constantly mark myself with ink pens. I spray hair spray on them (because I carry it in my purse) to help lift the stain.
I have just come to accept the fact that if I eat a piece of chocolate I will have some on me no matter how tiny it is.
i agree with an above poster.. club soda is my go to spot remover!
Oh no! I've been wondering if those Tide sticks really worked...
The shout pens don't leave the mark like the tide pens do, but I haven't been able to find them.
Oh, my gosh! I'm sitting here reading this, eating crackers dipped in ranch dressing. Wouldn't you know it, the last one cracked & I ended up with ranch on my shirt and financial statements!
Anytime I put a white shirt on - almost immediately I get something on me. You can't take me anywhere!
Oh my goodness, that is my lifesavor!!
I'm a big clutz too! Be careful with the tide pens. The expire. If you keep them around too long they smell REALLY REALLY bad. Trust me having the stain is preferable so make sure to smell it before you use it on your clothes.
oh and it's terrible when you have a baby bump and something spills right on top of you belly, ha! luckily it hasn't happened lately but i will definitely have to get one of these=)
Hi! Thanks for stopping by my blog...I always have a tide pen with me and everyone at work laughs because I have back up outfits ready to go when I know clients are coming in, you know - in case of a mess! lol...
I love the tide pen andd I am a huge klutz too but mine is uaually me falling or something!
Don't feel alone. I can't go one meal without ending up wearing some of it home. I use those shout wipes and they work really well!
haha- ohmygoodness, you sound just like my husband. he keeps a tide pen in each of our cars, his briefcase, his office desk, his locker at the gym AND in his nightstand drawer! Just this past Sunday I told him, "you'd better not eat breakfast dressed for mass" to which he replied "i'll be fine! i'll be careful!" Lo and behold? Maple syrup on his freshly dry cleaned khakis. Club Soda is definitely my go-to but Hubs swears by Tide pens! Cute blog! Looking forward to reading more!
I am too! Not necessarily spilling things, but more of walking into things.
I can relate.. I am a klutz as well! Not so much with spilling drinks on me, but with accidentally hitting my fork so it comes flying at me. Not cool.
No matter how hard I try to look pristine, I always end up looking a mess. I need to buy stock in Tide since I use so much!
The Tide pen has saved me on many occasions! I am definitely a spiller. Just today I was sitting in class and tried to take a sip of water. Apparently it was my first time using a big girl cup, because I spilled it everywhere. I always joke that I should carry a roll of paper towels in my bag.
