The Long Beach Grand Prix is a open-wheel race held on a temporary road course and is the longest running major "street" race in America.
So the Mr. and I spent the weekend checking out races, exhibits, and festivities.
I've never been to car race before (sorry nascar fans), so it was a great experience!

I don't know why but I think I'd be most afraid of Alex Tribec challenging you to a car race. I just have images of him yelling "In the form of a question!" as he peels out.
I love car races - especially the formula one. I have become a Speed channel addict. Sad isn't it?! Looks like you had fun though :)

I am SO unbelievably jealous of you. If I had gotten that close to Keanu Reeves and hadn't been able to talk to him or at least stalk him for the rest of the day I would have been so sad! lol
I've never actually been to the Grand Prix. I know my parents took my brother out of school early once to go. Honestly, my main memories of it is ALL the extra traffic it creates!
