Mishmash of Summer Vacations Planned!

While I sit in my cold office while it rains outside, I'm dreaming of of sun and summer.

For this Summer we've have FOUR exciting but random mini-vacations planned. I just finished booking two of them today!

Kicking off the summer - Chilling, tanning, and floating at the Squaw Peak Hilton in Phoenix, AZ. Just the two of us.

Can you say laaaaazy river?

Next Up - My Family Reunion in Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri at my Uncle's Lake house.

I heart boat-up bars.

Next - His family camping trip in Ft. Stevens, Oregon.

This is posh camping with hot showers. What else would expect from me?

Finally - Anniversary Weekend at the Hilton San Diego Resort (where we got married)!

I can actually enjoy the amazing property we got married at without the wedding stress. Amen!

None of these are too long or too pricey. The current economic conditions can't support our dream trip to Greece, but I'm really really excited about all of our cool little trips!

(Actually, now that I look at it all, I see one unifying theme in these trips -- water. I've always loved being near water. Too funny.)

What fun trips do you have planned this summer? Is the economy impacting your plans at all?

I hope you have fun!

I'm so jealous! It doesn't look like I'm going to get a vacation this summer.

Those look like so much fun!

Those all sound incredible! Just thinking about summer makes me smile.
I feel happiest when I have things to look forward to. So far on the list is a little spring break jaunt to Vegas; a long weekend in San Diego in May; and an extended trip to my hometown/Chicago in July. And weekend road trips to the Ozarks/random Missouri rivers, as often as possible.
They can't come soon enough!

That all looks like a blast! We arent going anywhere for a while since we just got back in November from Bermuda. We spent a week there just the two of us no kids and because the cruise season was over we had every beach all to ourselves. I mean literally some of the prettiest pink sand beaches in the world just the two of us. Oh yeah it was therapeutic.

They all look fabulous. I'm sure you'll have a wonderful time no matter where you are. Fortunately for my honey and I, his mom said she wants the whole family to go to the beach and she doesn't want us to pay for anything. How can I say no to that? Looks like we're heading to the Outer Banks. I love that place!

Those trips all sound amazing! I like that they're all going to be so different. It will be a very busy and fun summer for you guys. :)

Right now I'm looking into booking either a trip to Mexico or Hawaii for our 1 year anniversary in August, but I'm really researching to find good prices. If not, then wine country it is!

We're going on a mini-vacation, sort of, in a week. We're going to Palm Beach FL for a friend's wedding. They're getting married at the Breakers, so it should be gorgeous. And I've never been to Palm Beach before, so I'm really looking forward to it!
