So last night we met for a bloggy "date" for crepes and coffee! So fun! We talked about blogging, the blogs we love, church, significant others, and our lives in So Cal. We laughed about how meeting friends on "the internet" seems sketchy, but feel like the blogger network is a little different, than say, "yahoo personals" or "match.com".
We talked about how there a lot of bloggers from the South, Mid-west, and even East Coast, but there are not a lot of West Coast bloggers and even less Orange Country bloggers. Are there ANY Orange County bloggers out there? If so, please leave me comment! (LA bloggers comment too!)
Anyway, meeting up with Chic Runner was a blast! Has anyone met any bloggy friends in "real" life?

I'm out here by the beach in Virginia and I have yet to meet any bloggers in real life. I would like to, and I know that non-bloggers probably think it's weird and sketchy I know that us bloggers agree that it's different!
I wish I still lived in SOCal.. I miss the weather..
I met a bloggy friend once, the first time I met her I was picking her up at the airport for our 6 hour drive to run MY FIRST marathon.. It was amazing and we are awesome friends still
I wish I had real-life bloggy friends! Can you tell me about good midwestern blogs you read? I'm dying to connect with some people in my area!
I haven't met anyone yet...seems like all my blog friends are from the south...and I'm stuck in Cleveland!
I'm so glad that you guys were able to meet and have a great time! I totally agree with you in thinking that meeting blogging friends is WAY different than any other kind of internet encounter.

I live near Chicago, and meet up with my fellow Chicago bloggers once or twice a year. I also got to met a Texas and a Georgia blogger last summer when they were in town!
One of my close friends now is a blogger I met a few years ago. We meet for lunch once a week.

I'm don't life in LB anymore technically. But still completely feel like I do. It's hard to move on. And I guess Long Beach isn't really OC though, not that it makes much of a difference. It might as well be!
